throughout the world. The financial crisis, 9/11, the dot-com bubble, the energy crisis in the 1970s, the Wall Street crash of 1929—the list goes on. Some of these events were small, and others made to headline the history books. Even if well-informed people can imagine or even firmly believe a specific event will take place, no one could ever truly know for sure the exact timing, breadth or impact of that event. If anyone claims they can—well, they are playing Monday morning quarterback.
